Sino-American Press provides use of our FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server, to make it easy for our customers to upload files to us for processing.
To avoid the possibility of corruption during upload, we recommend all files be compressed using a utility such as Stuffit (.sit) for the Mac or WinZip (.zip) for the PC. Please limit file names to 32 characters or less, and avoid use of special characters such as forward- and back-slashes (/ and \), ampersands ( & ), number/pound signs ( # ), etc. Hyphens and underscore characters should be used to replace word spaces.
The preferred method is to use an industry standard FTP client to send and retrieve files. Like ws_ftp, cuteFTP etc, or even MS Internet Explorer (if using IE go to ftp://ftp.sinoamericanpress.com and use username:clients@sinoamericanpress.com and password:clients).
If you have a username and password, and would like to upload your files via your FTP client please use
www.sinoamericanpress.com. If you would like to upload your files to a shared directory please enter the following; username:clients@sinoamericanpress.com Please call us for the password.
